Lying about your height, ghosting, forgetting to mention you’re married, modern dating is broken.

So to launch Channel 4’s Honesty Box, a new dating show featuring a cutting edge lie detector we wanted to call out the lies in modern dating, by announcing It’s Time Dating Got Honest.

We launched with a film that showed the true horrors of modern dating with a whimsical musical featuring the worst modern dating tropes.

We then targeted couples on dates in pubs with awkward questions on beer mats and posters that subverted images of love. In social we created lie detecting snapfilter couples could play together, and got Aunties to grill influencer Harry Pinero about his dating life, getting 4 million views on youtube. All in all the campaign made Honesty Box E4’s biggest ever launch on steaming, but more importantly, it reminded people modern dating needs honesty.
